Focus Design is proud to announce the award of the design contract for the major renovation of the Al Zubara Horse Breeding Farm, one of the largest equestrian centers in the world. Located in northern Qatar, the farm spans over 150 hectares with a built-up area of approximately 47,000 sqm across 35 specialized buildings. Home to more than 620 elite Arabian horses, the facility is renowned for breeding and training champion bloodlines, contributing to Qatar’s global leadership in equestrian sports.

The extensive upgrade will transform the farm with state-of-the-art facilities designed to optimize horse care, training, and breeding operations. The project enhances functionality, efficiency, and environmental control throughout the estate, ensuring that both the animals and the staff benefit from world-class operational standards.

This renovation reinforces Qatar’s position as a leading hub for Arabian horse breeding and international equestrian sport. By combining technical innovation with thoughtful design, the upgraded Al Zubara Horse Breeding Farm will remain at the forefront of equestrian excellence, supporting the country’s ambitions to preserve its equine heritage and elevate its global presence in the sport for years to come.
