As one of the world’s largest horse-breeding farms, spanning over 150 hectares, the Al Zubara Horse Breeding Farm is an equestrian complex comprising 35 specialized buildings that support the breeding, training, and management of over 620 horses. The facility is conceived as an operational development where stable typologies, circulation flows, and support systems are aligned with equine welfare, biosecurity, and performance.

The project focuses on the renovation and upgrade of the existing facility, addressing both equine and administrative environments. The scope includes stables, training and conditioning areas, veterinary and quarantine facilities, as well as key support buildings such as feed storage, farrier units, and waste management zones.

The existing layout is refined, with clearer separation between horse movement, staff circulation, and service logistics. This reorganization enhances efficiency, reduces travel distances between functions, and strengthens the overall performance of the facility.

Upgrades to building services and site infrastructure include improvements to drainage, sanitation, and controlled access systems, supporting equine health, safety, and biosecurity requirements. The result is a more efficient and resilient equestrian complex, aligned with contemporary standards for large-scale breeding and training facilities.
