Designed as a five-star coastal retreat just north of Doha, the resort comprises 29 private villas, a signature clubhouse, a welcoming pavilion, and a dedicated wellness and activity zone.
The layout is planned to maximize privacy while maintaining a strong visual and spatial connection to the natural surroundings. Villas are strategically arranged to face either the mangrove buffer or open sea, each with private pools and outdoor spaces. This spatial rhythm ensures that the architectural form supports the resort’s retreat-like experience.
The architectural language is defined by clean horizontality, curvilinear transitions, and a restrained material palette. Glazed volumes stretch toward the horizon, passive design strategies, including deep cantilevers, vertical shading fins, and tightly controlled openings, create responsive envelopes that adapt to sun, wind, and view.
Sustainability formed a fundamental part of the resort’s architecture. The design integrates greywater recycling, efficient HVAC systems, and renewable energy strategies, while minimizing heat gain through calibrated glazing, strategic orientation, and a high-performance envelope, aligned with both QCS and international green building standards.
