The Umm Al Seneem Health Center, is a primary healthcare facility developed by Qatar's Public Works Authority (Ashghal) as part of Qatar’s healthcare expansion program. The facility comprises a Type B prototype health center with clinical, diagnostic, and specialist healthcare services supported by integrated basement parking and associated infrastructure works.

We undertook the technical design development associated with the final medical equipment and specialist systems selection. The scope focused primarily on the review, update, and coordination of building services systems to ensure alignment with the approved clinical equipment, operational workflows, and end-user requirements.

The works included verification of room ventilation strategies and pressure polarity requirements across clinical spaces, ensuring compliance with operational standards and infection control criteria. The team also coordinated the integration of specialist systems including nurse call, medical gas interfaces, neutralization systems, and Building Management System (BMS) integration, alongside updates to room data sheets and technical specifications to reflect final equipment selections.

To support design coordination, we developed and coordinated the BIM model to incorporate final design information, ensuring alignment between the Architectural, MEP, and specialist healthcare disciplines.
