The EN19 Pedestrian Bridge forms part of Doha’s pedestrian infrastructure network, providing a grade-separated connection between West Bay Family Park, Al Batteel Street, and adjacent developments across Al Istiqlal Street. The project was developed to enhance pedestrian mobility and safety along a major urban corridor while maintaining uninterrupted traffic operations.

Spanning a length of 55 m with a width of 6 m and featuring 4 m-wide staircases, the bridge is designed to accommodate high pedestrian flows while ensuring comfort and ease of movement for all users. The architectural approach balances functionality and identity.
Fully enclosed and air-conditioned, including its staircases and elevator shafts, the bridge integrates structure, services, and circulation into a cohesive form, providing a comfortable internal environment, clear wayfinding, and year-round usability in Doha’s climate.

We led the project from concept design through detailed design, covering Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical Disciplines. The design integrated and coordinated building services and security systems, working closely with statutory authorities to secure all necessary approvals and ensure compliance with local regulations.
