The project involved the Interior Fit-Out, Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing, and Lighting design for luxury duty-free retail spaces within the retail concourse of Hamad International Airport, including the Perfume & Cosmetics zone, the Watches retail area, and boutique environments for Jimmy Choo and Valentino.
The design reinterprets the airport retail environment as a fluid sequence of brand encounters shaped by passenger movement. Spatial planning organizes the retail landscape along clear circulation paths, where open sightlines, curated display zones, and moments of pause encourage both intuitive navigation and engagement with premium products.
A restrained material palette, integrated lighting, and carefully detailed display systems establish a refined architectural language that supports both brand expression and spatial coherence. These experiential qualities are reinforced by the seamless integration of building services, with MEP and lighting systems coordinated within the architectural framework to ensure operational efficiency while enhancing the atmosphere of a contemporary luxury retail environment.
